典故

春秋时期，楚国珠宝匠卞和从山中发现一块璞玉原料，兴高采烈跑到宫里去进献给楚厉王，楚厉王认为这根本就是石头，就命人砍了他的左脚；进献给楚武王，楚武王也同样砍了他的右脚。只有楚文王识货，命人加工成为有名的和氏璧。
